Volunteer – Get Involved
Marco Island Meals of Hope 2023 packaging event will be at the Marco Island Charter Middle School on Saturday, November 18th. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and everyone shall be packaging by 8:30 a.m. The event is being held in Gym with A/C again.
Approximately 500 volunteers are needed for the event. Volunteers will staff 16-foot stations with 10 people per station. Stations will be distanced to minimize contact between participants. Face masks are optional, but gloves shall be worn by all handing food products as well as hair nets unless you bring your own hat or other hair covering.
The COVID -19 pandemic has changed the conduct of this event as well as increased need for the meals packaged by volunteers.
